L: explore language used in the story.

The story uses lots of lovely language. It is very beneficial to the children to explore the language used and encourage them to use it in their writing too.

It might be worth having the words noted on the fridge to encourage the children to try to use the words. 

Please complete the activities on the sheet below and then write a sentence for each word. 

Handwriting

Today the children will be using their spellings in sentences.

Art

Today you are going to create your own pop art. 

First step is to draw your object. It could be:

• Your pet
• Your favourite toy
• A family member
• Favourite food

Next choose your method:

• Paint
• Using colour paper a the background. 
• Crayon/Pastels
• A photo booth app. 

I would love to have these wonderful creations in school so please could you send me a picture.
