At this time of year in school, we would normally prepare for Holy Week and Easter through a range of activities.
Even though they are not in school, it would be wonderful if the children could explore the events of Holy Week and Easter. There are a range of suggested activities and web links in the ‘Living Our Faith’ section of the Website . Please see the link below.
There is also a virtual children's liturgy, on the CAFOD site
Live streaming on the parish website will enable you to ‘virtually attend’ the Mass and services of this holy season. There is a wealth of information about the parish on this website, including messages from Fr Ned, parish initiatives requiring support, and much more.
Read Write Inc is streaming a short Speed Sounds lesson for children to watch at home every weekday on the YouTube channel.
Each lesson is ten minutes long and available for 24 hours.
Repeats of lessons streamed up until Friday 3rd April will be shown during the Easter holidays (excluding Bank Holidays).
