Spring Term 2021
Spellings
For our Lenten fundraiser we had a Teddy Bearβs picnic on the field. We made some jam sandwiches that we could enjoy eating together

The children were very excited to have their teddy bears in the classroom
We had a wonderful time at our Teddy Bear’s picnic. Thank you for all your donations

We had a wonderful afternoon on our school field. We were all amazed to hear Mr Ratchfordβs story about the dragon and the little people.

In order to protect ourselves from the dragon, we had to make special bracelets with a partner to weave the wool together.

Mr Ratchford told us that we could help the little people by making them special pictures to cheer them up and make them happy again. The children worked so hard and created the most beautiful pictures π

β€οΈ Just look at these beautiful pictures. We are sure that the little people will love them. We certainly loved making them β€οΈ

Working hard during our Phonics time

We acted out the story of The Good Samaritan

Enjoying some active Maths work

In our Geography work we have been using the atlases to find out about places near and far

We love starting our day with Wake Up, Shake Up

We enjoyed getting the instruments out today in our Music lesson as we were thinking about the pulse and playing different rhythms. We learnt a new song too, Round and Round. See if your child can sing it for you.

We loved our live lesson today with Science Farm exploring the question βWhich came first, the chicken or the egg?β The children were amazed!

A fabulous start to our term with a Bitesize Boot camp session with Ruth. The children loved it and worked very hard. π«πͺπΌπππ½βοΈ
