Living Things and Their Habitats

How are habitats around the world are changing?

(This could be the rainforests, the arctic, oceans, coral reefs or the African savannas) What dangers would changing this habitat pose to living things?
The National Geographic and WWF websites might help you.

What can WE do to help the living world?

Explore examples of human impact (both positive and negative) on environments. For example, the positive effects of nature reserves, ecologically planned parks, or garden ponds, and the negative effects of population and development, litter or deforestation.

You might work scientifically by: using and making simple guides or keys to explore and identify plants and animals; making a guide to local living things; raising and answering questions based on their observations of animals and what they have found out about other animals that they have researched.

Alternatively, The Association for Science Education has some really useful slides and resources for this topic.
