Keeping cool and having lots of fun in the sun β˜€οΈπŸŒ»πŸŒŸ

After many months of watching our potato πŸ₯” plants grow they were finally ready to be pulled today... The children enjoyed finding the potatoes πŸ₯” in the soil. We then washed our treasures , ready for cooking tomorrow.

Today we said goodbye to our butterflies...The children have really enjoyed observing the daily changesπŸ›πŸ¦‹

We have enjoyed exploring the story ‘ Mr Ordinary’s Prize’.  Someone has stolen Mr Ordinary’s Thinking and Doing!  What will he do without them? Mr Ordinary and his friends try to get them back

Through this wonderful story we have been finding out about The Manchester Coat of Arms.

We are exploring the story Handa’s Surprise. We became geographers finding out about Kenya, Africa. We have created fabulous artwork and made music with African drums. Snack time was very exciting too!

Today we had a very exciting delivery... our caterpillars arrived! πŸ˜ŠπŸ›πŸ¦‹
