❀️ All Saints’ Mini Vinnies like to turn concern into action, inside and outside school! 

We meet fortnightly during lunchtime to pray together, talk about those around us that need our help and think of ways we can help them. ❀️

Delivering hampers to some of our elderly parishioners.

Collecting and delivering to Sale West Hub, hats and scarves for the homeless. β€˜Don’t Walk Past’ group delivered the collection to the homeless via the Hub.

Our Induction Mass 2023

We welcomed a very special visitor, Janet to our whole school assembly this morning to talk to us about the Mini Vinnies and their role within our school and local community. Our new Mini Vinnies group enjoyed talking to her about future plans and people that we could help #turningconcernintoaction @svpenglandwales ❀️

Our wonderful Mini Vinnies group celebrated a beautiful Mass this morning at St Vincent’s Church. It was such a lovely opportunity to meet children from other schools and come together as Mini Vinnies. 

Delighted to receive this certificate today and be a registered Mini Vinnies school for the year ahead. Look out for it on display in the main Office.

A lovely meeting today with some of our Mini Vinnies - we are very excited about lots of upcoming projects.

We enjoyed a whole school assembly this morning on the feast day of St Vincent de Paul. We listened to his life story and reflected on how we could help others in school and in our local community. We found out more about Mini Vinnies and the work that they do. children from Year 4 to Year 6 were invited to join the group.

🧑 Mini Vinnies 2018/19 🧑

Some of our Year 6 members led an assembly on what Mini Vinnies is about and inviting children from our Y4 - Y6 to join.

A few months ago we had a prayer request for a baby that was poorly. Mini Vinnies prayed in their meeting and sent prayers and cards to the family. Today baby Aoife came to visit us for our meeting, how wonderful. They brought us a yummy cake too!! The power of prayer! Our youngest Mini Vinnies member, we love you baby Aoife πŸŒŸπŸ’›πŸŒŸ

Our President & Vice President led us in a beautiful prayer this afternoon. More great fundraising ideas booked in the diary for Summer 2 Term too πŸ˜„πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’§πŸ’§

Mini Vinnies Cake Sale

SVP - Today our Mini Vinnies met with Kevin Lee (President of SVP All Saints Church) to learn more about what the SVP does and how they help others. We also asked how our Mini Vinnies group can help them. Thank you Kevin, it was very informative.

This morning Mini Vinnies helped to serve refreshments after Mass to parents and children. They raised a fantastic Β£60.45 for SVP charities πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŒŸπŸ’›

Mini Vinnie’s meeting - Today we especially prayed for those that are sick in our school and parish community.

Christmas Toy Appeal - Our Mini Vinnies helping to load the car, full of toys for Wood Street Mission, Manchester.

Very proud of our Mini Vinnies for always thinking of others. Today they created beautiful cards and wrote prayers for some of our sick parishioners.
