Our visit to Crucial Crew this January. We learnt so much about addiction, road safety awareness, how to be safe on the railways and how not to get scammed. So much valuable information

Our Faith Ambassadors help to load our new toy donations to the Wood Street Mission Appeal this Advent. We pray they bring joy to those in need in Manchester this Christmas time.

Stay & Pray. Advent Week 2. How hard could it be? We LOVED making our Gingerbread Houses. A huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who helped us- we couldn’t have done it without you!

A wonderfully uplifting Celebration of the Word to finish off this first week of Advent. We have been learning about how, inspirational people such as St Oscar Romero shone lights into dark corners and bought Hope to others. We thought of ways we can bring Hope and Peace this Advent season.

Our visit to Fiona Gardens to interview the residents about their experiences of living in Manchester during and just after World War 2.

As part of our learning about the anatomy of the heart, Year 6 dissected lambs’ hearts.

Our Class Assembly this term was all about National Parliament Week. We asked the question: ‘Is it ever right to fight?’ and staged a debate about this. Our work on Martin Luther King, St Oscar Romero and the Suffragettes informed our answers. Thank you so much to all our parents and carers for coming to support us.

Following our work on The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, these boys delivered a beautiful Celebration of the Word themed around Remembrance. Lord, may the seeds of the poppies sow Peace in the Hearts of your people everywhere.

These girls ran our November Book Fair. Such amazing Reading Ambassadors and wonderful Librarians. Thank you girls!

Such an informative session about alcohol and drugs awareness from our Trafford Nursing Team. Using the beer goggles was really tricky!

Bikeability

Year 6 enjoyed visiting and venerating the Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis at St Anthony’s Diocesan Schools Event. Such a fabulous day of love, faith and prayer. “To always be close to JESUS, that’s my life plan.” #blessedcarloacutisprayforus 💙🙏🏼 Thank you @shrewsbury_ymt
