You can make a fact file about what you can find out.

You could also make 2 maps and compare, now and then.

Use Google Maps to help draw your map of the local area. Then, go on NLS Maps and make sure one map is set to OS One Inch, 1885-1900 – Outline and one is set to OpenStreetMap.
Now you can compare the old map against today’s map.
Draw another map to show how different your local area was in 1885-1900.
What do you notice?
How has your local area changed?
If you wanted to get really creative, you could even add 3D images of buildings onto your maps.
