Welcome to Year 2!
Hi and welcome to the year 2 class page. My name is Mrs Cooke, I’m very excited to be the year 2 class teacher. Here you will be able to see all the fun and exciting things we have been up to as a class. As a class we are aiming to be the best we can be, work hard and try our best!
We have been learning about some of the amazing adventures of Ibn Battuta. As one of the earliest explorers, he travelled to over 44 modern countries over 30 years.
In science we have been planting and learning about how plants grow
Year 2 joined together with year 1 to learn about and take part in the Seder meal. They learnt the Passover was a special meal Jesus celebrated at the night before he died.
Looking at fractions is yummy 😋
