Computing

The children are beginning to learn about word processing. They have been learning about the keyboard and how to use different fingers to help them type. The children also played a game called Typing Club to practise where to place their hands on the keyboard and to improve their typing skills. Such an important skill for children to develop!

Year 2

The children learnt about the different parts of the computer. They then practised their mouse skills by making a computer on SketchPad.

During our computing lesson, Year 2 learnt about different technology. They learnt about the different inputs and outputs technology has, the children were challenged to design their own robots and think about inputs and outputs.

Year 4

We used Word and PowerPoint to research and present information about our House Saints - St. Christopher, St Carlos Acutis, St Sebastian, St Lucy, St. Oscar Romero, and St Joan of Arc.
