Online Safety

At our school, we take online safety seriously and make sure everyone knows how to stay safe when using the internet. This part of our website is where we’ll share some of the important online safety learning that happens in our classrooms. We’re also proud to have our very own Online Safety Ambassadors — a team of pupils who help promote safe and responsible use of technology across the school. They lead activities, share advice, and make sure everyone feels confident and protected online.

Meet Our Online Safety Ambassadors

We are proud to introduce our Online Safety Ambassadors! These pupils play an important role in helping to keep our school community safe online. They promote positive online behaviour, share important safety messages, and support others in making smart choices when using technology.

Online Safety Event

Our Online Safety Ambassadors recently attended an event at Park Road, where they explored new and creative ways to promote online safety in our school. They took part in workshops, shared ideas with pupils from other schools, and learnt how to help everyone use the internet safely and responsibly. The ambassadors are excited to bring their new knowledge back to school and use it to make our online community even safer.

Spreading the Online Safety Message

Our Online Safety Ambassadors have been busy designing a brilliant online safety poster to display around the school. Their poster shares important messages about how to stay safe and kind online. By putting them up in classrooms and corridors, the ambassadors are helping to remind everyone of the simple steps we can all take to use the internet responsibly.

Online Safety Zoom

Our Online Safety Ambassadors recently attended a special Zoom session to help them plan activities for the whole school. During the session, they learnt about the importance of staying safe online and explored different scenarios they might face. The children discussed the best ways to respond to these situations, thinking carefully about how to keep themselves and others safe while using the internet. It was a great opportunity for them to share ideas and organise exciting activities to help everyone in school stay safe online!

Online Safety

Our Online Safety Ambassadors led a session in Year 2 to explore how to stay safe online. The Year 5 Ambassadors shared simple ways of staying safe and played a game with the children to test their knowledge.
The key messages were:

  • Think before you click
  •  If you're ever worried, speak to an adult you know
  • Never share any personal information online
Online Safety Day

Our Online Safety Team delivered an assembly to the whole school. They discussed this year's theme AI. They quizzed the children on whether images were AI generated. They shared important ways to stay safe online.
