Meeting Santa
The children worked very hard to perform their nativity. They truly brought the most important story to life.
The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the book fair, lots of exciting new books to read and explore.
Tnhe children learnt about basic algorithms in computing and had the opportunity to explore using a keyboard to input this information.
As a mark of respect, the children created their own poppies for remembrance day.
Year 2 learnt all about the Gunpowder Plot and completed their learning by making a firework display. The children started this by using wax crayons and painting over in black. Finally, the children scratched out the fireworks.
Exploring adding three 1 digit numbers in Maths.
In English, Year 2 listened to the story `Pumpkin Soup`. The children then followed instructions to make their own Pumpkin Soup.
Online Safety is so important, the children learnt about what is safe to share on i=the internet and what is best kept secret.
Exploring the impact of soap when washing hands.
Creating colourful collages in art. The children explored the use of pattern and texture. They created their own creation artwork.
European day of languages- creating a message in a bottle.
