Masses
Years 3 and 6 Led a Beautiful Mass in Celebration of our
Stay and Pray
Feast of Christ the King
This week, our school and parish community came together to celebrate the Feast of Christ the King, a moment that marks both the end of the Church’s year and a powerful reminder of Christ’s reign of truth, love and peace. Gathered in prayer and reflection, we honoured Jesus Christ, our King and the Light of the World, opening our hearts to His guidance and His call to share His light with others.
As this feast falls in November, the month of remembrance, we also remember loved ones who have died. Our beautifully decorated remembrance jars, filled with names, prayers and cherished memories, were displayed as a symbol of hope. They remind us that through Christ the King, the promise of eternal life continues to shine, even in moments of sorrow.
A special part of our celebration was the commissioning of our Year 6 Chaplains. These pupils have committed themselves to serving our school community through prayer, compassion, and leadership. As they received their commissioning, we recognised their important role in helping to nurture faith, kindness and unity throughout our school.
It was a moving and meaningful celebration for our school community, strengthening our faith and deepening our sense of unity as we look ahead with hope to a new Church year.
Celebrating All Saints' Day
This week, our school community came together to celebrate Mass for All Saints' Day, a joyful feast that reminds us of the countless holy men and women who inspire us to live with faith, kindness and courage.
To mark the occasion, the children arrived dressed as their favourite saints, bringing the celebration to life with creativity, colour and enthusiasm. From St. Francis to St. Thérèse, from modern saints to Biblical heroes.
During Mass, we reflected on how the saints show us what it means to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. Their examples remind us that holiness is not something distant or unreachable, but a path we can walk through love, prayer, and acts of kindness.
It was a beautiful, faith-filled celebration that brought learning, joy and spirituality together, truly honouring the spirit of All Saints' Day.
Harvest Festival
The school community gathered together to celebrate Holy Mass in honour of the Harvest Festival and the feast day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. It was a joyful occasion, giving thanks for the many blessings of our harvest donations for the local food bank and reflecting on the life and example of St. Thérèse, known as the “Little Flower,” whose faith and simplicity continue to inspire.
The Mass was filled with gratitude, prayer, and song, as students, staff, and families came together to share in both the spirit of thanksgiving and the joy of the saint’s feast day.
