Making Magic Boxes ✨

In English, we have been exploring the wonderful poem “The Magic Box” by Kit Wright. The children created their own colourful magic boxes and filled them with wonderfully imaginative ideas. We heard about everything from zebras on skateboards to gorillas on the moon! It has been fantastic to see their creativity and imaginations come to life through poetry.

Working Hard with Multiples of 10!

The children have been working hard on understanding multiples of 10. They used ten counters and tens rods, and worked together in pairs to make different multiples of 10. They then challenged themselves by adding multiples of 10 together. Great teamwork and fantastic mathematical thinking!

Working Together

We have been showing some fantastic teamwork while solving problems together! The children worked collaboratively to create mazes, build bridges and make symmetrical patterns. It was wonderful to see them sharing ideas, helping one another and using their creativity to find solutions.
