Our children have now been allocated to their new ‘Houses’- St Lucy, St Carlo Acutis, St Sebastian, St Oscar Romero, St Christopher and St Joan of Arc. These Saints have been carefully chosen for the spirit and courage they showed, and in honour of the work they did in Jesus’ name whilst they were on earth. Their feast days are staggered throughout our school year enabling us to celebrate their special days with the children.  House Meetings took place , eagerly led by our newly appointed House Captains with their rallying speeches making sure all the children felt a sense of pride in belonging to that particular House.

Feast Day of Saint Carlo Acutis Celebration

October 12th 

Today, we joyfully celebrated the feast day of Saint Carlo Acutis – a modern role model of faith, kindness, and devotion. Our morning began with our House Captains leading us in prayers dedicated to this inspiring young saint.

As our house colour is orange, we enjoyed making bright and cheerful bracelets to mark the occasion. We also treated ourselves to some delicious Italian snacks in honour of Saint Carlo’s heritage.

To finish our celebration, everyone joined in a fun and faith filled round of Saint Carlo Bingo, bringing our special day to a joyful close.
