School Houses

St Andrew ~ St David ~ St George ~ St Patrick

To encourage team-work, cooperation and some healthy competition, all of our children belong to a team or ‘House’: St Andrew’s, St David’s, St Patrick’s or St George’s.

Each feast day is celebrated in style with music, dancing, presentations and refreshments – all families and friends are always welcomed to come along and join in the festivities. Please go to our House Pages where you will be able to see photographs and videos of our recent celebrations.

The children are very proud that they belong to their House, for which they can win House Points. At each weekly Friday Celebration Assembly the House Captains from Year 6 present news about how many House Points each House has won that week. At the end of each half term the House with the most points is rewarded with extra playtime.

House Points can

be awarded for many things: effort and working hard, being kind, being helpful, showing lovely manners and for individual pieces of work.

Each staff member also belongs to a House and encourages their team members during regular House Meetings, in the ways of winning House Points.

We also have many ‘Inter-House’ competitions: Sports Days, Football Tournaments, Rounders and Cricket competitions to name a few.
