Mr Graham Perkins

Hello, my name is Graham Perkins and I’ve been a Foundation Governor at All Saints since 2013, becoming Chair of Governors in 2015.

Having lived in Ashton on Mersey since 1989, both of our girls were lucky enough to attend All Saints’ and benefitted tremendously from their time here.

‘Why did I volunteer to be a Governor?’ Well that’s simple, I wanted to give something back to the school following our girls time here whilst at the same time making a positive contribution to our fantastic local community.

As Chair of Governors I see my role as working closely with, and supporting, all the other Governors, our Headteacher and all the staff to ensure that the school provides the best of education and pastoral care to every individual child, whilst also developing their creative thinking and enquiring minds.

I very much enjoy ‘Governor Day’s in school, which provide opportunities to speak to our wonderful children and staff and to experience daily school life at first hand. I am always impressed by the achievements of the children and the commitment of the staff and it is a pleasure to be associated with this school.

Outside of school life I work as a Technical Accountant with Trafford Borough Council, enjoy being with our grown up family, watching most sports, and I am a keen follower of Leeds United. I am also involved with the Brooklands branch of the Catenians.
