Dr Rosie Donne

I have been a parent at All Saints for over 10 years, having had two children who enjoyed attending their time here.

I became a foundation governor in 2013 as I wanted to do what I could to help the school be the best that it could be – a place where all children are happy, safe and can achieve their full potential. I want to make sure that our school can develop and nurture the unique talents of our children as well as overcome the difficulties they may have. I also hope it will be a place where staff can further their own professional development, learning new skills and confidence by working together as a successful team. I have learned a huge amount from attending the various governor meetings and training events, but there is still much more to learn.

It is always interesting and fun to come into school to meet with the staff, spend time with the children and see them busy at work. They are so full of enthusiasm and new ideas!

I am the Vice-Chair of governors as well as link governor for Safeguarding, Pupil Premium, SEND and, currently, Year 1. I serve on the Buildings, Finance and Standards committees. I work part-time as a hospital doctor, which has given me some insight into the unique pressures of the public sector.
