Parents’ and carers’ responsibilities if your child is absent:
- Inform the school office on the first day of absence by telephoning 0161 962 1288 where you can leave a message if the phone line is busy. You can also e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can come to the office in person.
- You must indicate the reason for absence and your child’s expected return to school date
- If your child is unable to return on the expected date, please again inform the school office
- You must provide copies of any medical appointment letters or cards
If we haven’t received an explanation on the first day of your child’s absence, a text message will be sent from school requesting you contact the school office.
